School Support Program

At the request of public-school principals, South Shore Guidance Center provides on-site counseling as well as individual, family, and group therapy at Roosevelt Middle School, J.W. Dodd Middle School, and Uniondale High School. Our school partnerships give South Shore Guidance Center unmatched opportunities to help students through key transitions during the sensitive period of adolescence, intervene early when mental illness emerges, respond to traumatic events and help develop on-site remedies for emotional and behavioral issues that affect students’ ability to function in school.
