Day Habilitation

Our Day Habilitation program is tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities aged 21 and above. We provide a mix of structured learning in a classroom setting and real-world experiences in the community to help participants grow, build relationships, and enjoy life to the fullest. Personal interests and goals guide our program, while our dedicated team ensures health, safety, and wellness are always a priority.

Day Habilitation offers a variety of themed classrooms with resources like exercise equipment, a beauty salon, a horticulture room, and more. Participants can also enjoy baking and preparing snacks in the training kitchen, fostering a sense of community and skill-building. Individuals also volunteer in the ‘EPIC Treats’ store and mobile canteen, learning money management skills while selling snacks and beverages to staff throughout the agency

A typical day may include a diverse range of celebrations and educational programs, where we explore cultural holidays such as Black History Month, Earth Day, Cinco de Mayo, Chinese New Year, and more. These events are opportunities to learn, create, and socialize with fellow participants and staff while enjoying music and dancing!
