Mission Statement: The mission of the South Shore Guidance Center is to provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families residing in Nassau County.

Since our founding in 1955, South Shore Guidance Center, located in Freeport, New York has earned the trust of the community. A multicultural staff meets the needs of the South Shore Guidance Center’s increasingly diverse population with bilingual counseling services and close familiarity with the cultures of the communities we serve.

With over six decades of experience, South Shore Guidance Center (SSGC) is highly qualified to address the behavioral health needs of communities in Nassau County. We provide community-based behavioral health care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. South Shore Guidance Center is dedicated to helping all individuals and families recover from life’s challenges and traumas while promoting social and educational development.
